Cameron Diaz is preparing to grace our screens yet again in Netflix’s new action-comedy movie Bad Day. 

In natural Diaz fashion, she was spotted on-set wearing a fall-friendly look that blended practicality with style. Instead of her California-cool aesthetic, her on-screen character leaned toward an unfussy ensemble you can wear from running errands to brunch with friends — no pitstop change required.

I, personally, love a utility jacket because it can go from a boxy, relaxed layer to a figure-framing coat with just a single adjustment. Diaz seemingly wore a similar one with adjustable drawstrings on the inside of the coat rather than the outside — just like this style has. It’s made from 100 percent cotton material that’s lightweight and not bulky, which makes it easier for layering over sweaters.
